Most fitness programs are designed for bodies that haven’t experienced serious illness, surgery, or major health challenges.

But many of the people who come to me are preparing for surgery, recovering from surgery, or learning to live with chronic illness.

They’ve often been told what they can’t do.
They’re looking for a way to rebuild strength safely — without feeling like their body is fragile or broken.

My coaching is built for that reality.

It focuses on rebuilding strength, confidence, and trust in your body through progressive strength training that respects your body’s history.

Why This Work Matters to Me

At 29, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis.
​
Over the years, my health journey included autoimmune disease, including Psoriatic Arthritis, cancer, ostomy surgery, and learning how to rebuild my strength more than once.
​
I also experienced multiple parastomal hernias as a result of surgical complications — setbacks that required me to adapt, rebuild, and rethink what strength looked like in my body.
There were times I felt disconnected from my body.
Times I didn’t trust what it could do.
Times I was told what to avoid — and what my body shouldn’t do.
But strength training became something different.

It became a way to rebuild trust.
To reconnect with my body.
To prove to myself that I was still capable.
​
That experience changed everything.
​
It’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all programs.
I meet people where they are — and help them rebuild from there.
​
Because strength doesn’t start at some ideal place.
It starts with what your body can do today.
​
And from there, we build.
​
It’s why I don’t coach bodies as if they’re broken.
I coach people in rebuilding strength in bodies that have been through more.

Because I’ve been there.

That’s why I created the You Got This Wellness Fund.

This fund helps provide access to coaching, support, and resources for individuals who are navigating their own recovery — and may not otherwise be able to afford it.

Because rebuilding strength shouldn’t be limited by circumstance.
